LARGE FORMAT PRINTING

Posters are digitally printed for small quantities and litho printed for the larger quantities.  They can advertise up-coming events or have clear instructions for possible crises or show seating plans for weddings etc.  They can be clipped into frames or rimmed top and bottom and hung as calendars on a wall or mounted and hung from the ceiling.

After printing posters can be encapsulated or laminated.

Encapsulating is where the poster is encased in film which is then heat fused onto the paper.  The poster is encapsulated and trimmed leaving a border all round. 

Laminating is where the poster has a film heat sealed on top only.  Borders are trimmed to the actual size of the poster.

Correx boards are often used for “for sale” signs, at markets and on street poles.  They are made of corrugated plastic which makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor use.  It should only be used for short term signage if used outdoors.  Optional punched holes and eyelets are available.  It can be printed in 1, 2 or full colour on one or both sides.  Various sizes are available for printing. 

Various options and sizes are available for printing.  We use a variety of materials including chromadek, ABS, Mfoam and Perspex.  The majority of the materials are good for indoor and outdoor use, but chromadek is the most popular for outdoor use as it is cost effective and hard wearing in outdoor conditions.  Signs can be installed onto a wall or fence, or it can be freestanding with a frame and poles.  Signs can be printed in 1, 2 or full colour on one or both sides, depending on the material used.

Pull Up banners are popular and often used at expos, conferences and shop/office entrances.  They are good for indoor use.  The banner retracts into a base and fits in a carry bag, which makes it easy to transport and quick to set up.  Standard and executive base options are available.  The standard size is 2000 x 845mm and printing can be done in full colour on one side. 

X-frame banners are similar to pull up banners and usually seen at expos and conferences.  They are good for indoor use.  The banner fits in a carry bag which makes it easy to transport and set up.  The standard size is 1600 x 650mm.  Printing is usually in full colour on one side only.

Flags are popular for outdoor advertising and are often seen at car dealerships, shows and markets.  Telescopic flags come in 2m, 3m and 4m long sizes and printing is usually done in full colour on one or both sides.  It comes with a bag and mechanism for easy transport.  Flags can be used outdoors with a ground spike, or indoors when using a cross base stand with a water bag (optional extra).
